We see them everywhere. They’re regular dudes, just like you and me. Maybe not all of them, but they’re cool. We don’t see a lot of smiles, but they mean no harm. In fact, you may have seen some of them already. Take a good look, and you might find yourself there.
Every SquircleHead is unique and kinda weird like everyone, I guess. Same eyes, different looks, the noses are big, small and everything in between. They have very distinct styles and don´t get me started on those hats.
Roadmap. Where are you going with this?
All future deliverables are subject to change. Consider this project a work in progress, not carved in stone. Our approach to artwork development is agile: we try things, see what works, adapt, tweak, and update as we go. In other words, we embrace the occasional happy accident and keep moving toward the best possible result.
Complete
2D Collection
Collection of 10,000 randomly generated NFTs that exist on the Ethereum Blockchain. Caution: Their poor sense of style can be contagious.
A bunch of JPEGs staring into the existential void, hoping someone mistakes vibes for a business model.
Pixel Collection
Every SquircleHead will have its 8Bit style companion. Why wouldn’t they? It’s a tradition among NFTs projects for centuries. And they look very cool. Will they come with a box full of gifts and candy? I don’t think so.
SquircleHead & Shoulders
Next stop SquircleHead & Shoulders (See what I did there?). Why, you ask, because those floating heads freak me out and something must be done about it. Actually, why don’t we go for the whole body. That’d be cool. Nah! Too much work.
3D Collection
The 3D Collection is coming along great! Some people say that it’s just one more D but that doesn’t explain… Well, that’s actually pretty much it, and I hate that.
Merch
Big plans! We’re thinking special SquircleHead series iPhone and Lamborghini or maybe just a cheap plush toy, we’ll see.
What about a theme park, a movie… I’m getting ahead of myself here. Scratch that last part.
Who did this?!
Oh, you dont wanna know…. Or maybe you do.
Anderson Moraes is a graphic designer and artist from Brazil, passionate about design, illustration, animation, digital art, NFTs, and DIY projects. He enjoys experimenting with ideas, making stuff from scratch, and jumping between creative fields faster than he can finish his to-do list.
He takes design seriously, but not himself. Always exploring new ideas, tweaking tiny details, and starting projects he definitely intends to finish someday. He believes good design is timeless, but his folder named “final_final_v7_reallyfinal” suggests otherwise.
FAQ
What is SquircleHead?
SquircleHead is a collection of 10,000 randomly generated NFTs living permanently on the Ethereum blockchain. Each one is a unique floating head with its own peculiar look, questionable fashion sense, and absolutely no interest in taking itself too seriously. The project will tentatively evolve beyond the original collection with 3D and 8Bit companions, merchandise, and an increasingly ambitious ecosystem that may or may not include some of the completely unnecessary ideas we’ve joked about along the way. There’s no grand promise of utility, metaverses, or world domination, just weird art, a sense of humor, and a community that understands.
When and where is it available?
SquircleHead will be available exclusively on the OpenSea marketplace. The official launch date will be announced soon. We’re currently getting everything ready for the big day (or at least trying to look like we know what we’re doing). Keep an eye out for the announcement, and prepare to welcome 10,000 uniquely generated SquircleHead to the blockchain, each one bringing its own terrible fashion sense.
Watch out for copycats there are no SquircleHeadS or SquircleHeadZ just plain simple and unique Squirclehead.
What is the meaning of life?
We asked the SquircleHead. They stared back at us.
After further investigation, we concluded that the meaning of life is probably something profound involving purpose, happiness, and personal fulfillment. Unfortunately, none of those things were included in the project roadmap.
